When you decide to resign

When you decide to resign, people ask you, “Why are you resigning?”

You may say that the company didn’t increase your salary. But in reality, salary is not the only reason for your decision.

The real issue is your importance in the company and among your colleagues. Sadly, people only notice how you appear, not the effort you put into your work. They see your moments of enjoyment, but they don’t see your struggles.

So, my dear, you are not resigning just because of a salary issue. You are leaving because of deeper reasons—because you feel you don’t truly exist or matter everywhere.
